An entry... finally I am updating and there is to be a 'proper' entry! Oh the excitement!

Things have been rather busy lately, and the time I have seems to be taken up with nothing but sleeping. After having 2 weeks holiday my desk seemed to have multiplied into huge proportions. When I walked but into the office on that first Monday back all I could see was 2 giant stack of files sitting on my desk, blocking any free space there was. I've been back at work 2 weeks now, and am ashamed to admit I have only been able to clear one stack of files so far.

My in-tray decided it wanted to keep up with the files and grew till it was about 50cm high (no exaggeration there at all!) but I have managed to get that to smaller proportions. My clients don't seem to understand that when I go on leave, I am unable to do any work or keep up to date on situations. I've lost count of how many phone calls I've had from my clients, upset that I haven't responded to a letter yet or why I haven't chased something up. When I tell them that I've only just come back to work after having a holiday they just go 'ohh' and then ask again when I will respond to them.

Most days of the week I come home exhausted and am in bed fast asleep by 11.30pm. J has been so wonderfully supportive of that, as he usually isn't really that tired by that time. He always comes to bed with me though because he says it doesn't feel right to go to bed without me. I'm adjusting slowly... think it'll take me a little longer to get the right amounts of sleep after having time off.

Plans for the handfasting are well underway also (told you I've been busy!). We have most things priced (ugh! money is evil!!!) and have found where we want to actually have the handfasting and have even found a castle to have our reception/party in. I don't know if you can really call it a reception.. there wont be many people at all and it wont be formal. It will be more like a bbq really (that sounds just terrible.. I have images of the typical aussie bbq - it wont be like that at all!)

Today we went on the search for the right paper for our invitations, and then went on to look for rings. We managed to find the right rings for us actually, and the prices aren't too bad either.

Time to stop with the handfasting talk..

A friend of mine got a tattoo last week, and ever since then I haven't been able to stop thinking about getting another one. I've known what I've wanted and where I wanted for a long time.. but this last week it has been the only thing on my mind.

I have an appointment to go get my new one tomorrow at 12.30pm (yay!! I'm very excited! I love getting new tattoos..) and promise to take pics and show you all tomorrow.

I really think that's all the news I have.. I promise I'll update more often!!
