I haven’t updated much lately I know..

I’m at work right now, should be working but want to update here instead. Lately I’m finding by the time I get home and do things that need to be done, I don’t have time to update, or just want to sleep! Now that J is here I don’t really go on the computer (except to get my fix of people’s diaries I read of course!).

As of yesterday, J has been here exactly one week. It really doesn’t seem like a week at all to me, but that may be because I’m at work a lot of the time. Perhaps it does feel like a week (or longer!) to J – I’ll have to ask him later.

After work yesterday, J and I went to get him an ultrasound just to make sure that the little lump he found was nothing. When we told the reception lady that he didn’t have a medicare card she was just nasty! I don’t know why she’d complain.. no medicare means we have to pay, which means they get more money. She still didn’t seem happy though. The whole procedure was very fast.. I got through 2 gossip magazines and then he was back out again (why can’t waiting rooms get current magazines!? I was reading these ancient magazines well over a year old!).

J was told the lump looks completely harmless, a little lump of fluid that looks to be nothing. We have to go back to the doctor just for him to confirm that but I’m very relieved that it is nothing. I wasn’t consciously worrying or thinking about it, but I still think it was at the back of my mind just hovering.

(I think I'm getting sick! I'm all sinusy and stuffy, tired all the time and sore throat.. what lovely timing. Just in time for Christmas!)
