This time of year my money just disappears (hmm, well it always disappears.. but much much faster than usual at this time).

I've got most people's presents but there are still more to get. I like to get my loved ones good presents.. I don't know why, I don't expect anything in return but I have no issue spending the money when I know someone will really love what I get them.

Problem is, the plans I have cost more that I actually get! Will just have to live on rations for a while it seems..

9 days till J is here! 9 days and 10 sleeps till I'm going to the airport to pick him up (at a time that is just too early as far as I'm concerned!) Some heavy duty cleaning must take place before then! My room isn't messy but there are certain little things that just have to go..

Things like a pile of cotton buds that I use to remove make up, that never quite seem to make it to the bin. The pile just grows and grows, but is on a shelf in my wardrobe so I never think about it.

Also, I'm really not a fan of dusting. Over the years I've learned to completely ignore dust, but when it gets to the stage you can write your name in it I think it's time to give it a bit of a clean. The dust bunnies behind my computer are so big that they have formed their own army back there.

On week days I'm up at 6.30 every morning, getting dressed and ready.. out the door by about 7.15am. This will be a brand new experience for J, and I think he may get a little cranky in the morning at first. I'll be moving around our room, light on, radio on and I'm sure he'll groan in agony as it keeps him awake!
